They reported a loan agreement with Chelsea was close. Thanks for replying Ed, appreciate that.

{Ed002's Note - There were discussions about Kovacic yesterday as part of some other discussions between the clubs. The problem Chelsea and other English sides are having is that clubs are unwilling to let players leave without having replacements lined up - so Chelsea cannot get who they want in midfield so they have to look at the other options they have.}

That’s a great bit of insight Ed. The Courtois situation makes sense when you take the fact Chelsea have no replacement.
