Hello Ed's
Could you give the latest on Iniesta, Carrasco and Gaitan. Media outlets are reporting they may end up in China before the end of their transfer deadline. Are these transfers really possible? And if Carrasco is moving I just don't understand why? Is money that much important he still earns more than most players surely.

Deependra

{Ed002's Note - Carrasco was always going to move and China is very much on the cards in the coming days. Iniesta will perhaps stay instead of moving to China. Gaitan will move but I don't know where at this time.}

1.) 01 Mar 2018 03:08:34
Thanks ed2. And any other possible transfers?

{Ed002's Note - There will be transfers as there will be for many clubs.}

Hello ed2
Was just going around club sites on the page and saw that you mentioned Kovacic being offered along with another player for either one of two players Real are interested in(on the Spurs page). So who is the other player that will likely be offered along with Kovacic.
From what you have said I think one of the two players Real will offer them as part of a deal is Dybal so who is the 2nd guy (if all that makes sense:-))?
Thanks

Deependra

{Ed002's Note - They are wing to offer James or Kroos.}

Ed which teams are interested in De Vrij of Lazio? He will be moving on a free transfer but any interest from English clubs, I know they can sign him on a pre contract now.

Thanks.

Deependra

{Ed002's Note - Inter who have been speaking with his agent, Juventus interest has likely gone, possibly Manchester City but he will not be first choice, Liverpool had an interest but they have added van Dijk.}

1.) 20 Feb 2018 16:29:51
Thanks ed.

2.) 20 Feb 2018 23:50:31
Ed have man utd shown any interest in him?

{Ed002's Note - The player would like a move to Chelsea or to Manchester United but right now both have other targets in mind.}

3.) 21 Feb 2018 09:19:38
Cheers ed.

4.) 21 Feb 2018 17:25:52
Could you share who Manchester united have in mind few?

Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Toby Alderweireld (CB) - but may need to fend off an offer of a new deal from Spurs, Manchester City and Real Madrid
Raphael Varane (CB) - it drags on rather
Samuel Umtiti (CB) - unlikely right now as another English side who have enquired have been told he is negotiating a new deal - if that can't be agreed we will see
David Lopez (CB) - do not rule him out - Mourinho will wait and remains keen

5.) 21 Feb 2018 09:19:38
Cheers ed.

6.) 22 Feb 2018 00:45:47
ed who do chelsea have in mind? thanks.

7.) 24 Feb 2018 15:14:52
Thanks edy.

Hi ed2

Wanted to ask about 2 players I like. Manolas and Tolisso. Any chance they could move? And any interest from Man Utd?

Thanks.

Deependra

{Ed002's Note - I would expect Manolas to stay - particularly if Rudiger moves to Inter. Tolliso is going to likely move with Bayern, Arsenal and Juventus keen but Chelsea will discuss him at talks over another player this week.}

1.) 09 Jun 2017 21:57:52
Ed002, with the latest reports, is it looking like Tolisso will join Bayern?

{Ed002's Note - I cannot say what is likely to happen and have no idea about any reports.}

15 Apr 2017 14:31:11
Ed2 when you mean significant changes does it mean in terms of players or managers too. In short is Montella's job safe for now? Also could you give us some information on players in and out at Milan?

Thanks

Deependra

{Ed002's Note - It was to do with Milan and the new owners. I am not going to try and deal with the whole gambit of players here.}}

Thanks ed.
Also could you tell who could be the guy they may offer Kovacic and James/Krios for if not Dybala.(you said for one of either two)

{Ed002's Note - I think you have misunderstood.}

2.) 02 Apr 2017 17:58:42
So ed if Real are ok to let Kovacic and Kroos both leave surely they will need to sign a CM. So who are real interested in to replace them?
Thanks

{Ed002's Note - Marcos Llorente returns from loan and Isco stays. Their priority is in other positions right now.}

3.) 02 Apr 2017 18:10:47
Thanks ed

Hello eds
What is the deal with Manolas,Rudiger and Murillo? Are they likely to move and where to?

Deependra

{Ed002's Note - Manolas will either sign a new contract or move. They will not look to sell Rudiger unless money becomes a major issue. Murillo will be available at the right price if Inter can get their target. I cannot answer "likely" questions.}

1.) 22 Feb 2017 09:17:35
Who are Inter's target ed2?

{Ed002's Note - Much will change by the summer and Inter will be watching a lot of games, but right now it is something likelthis:
Marquinhos (CB) – very unlikely - PSG don't want to sell but hope the player won't turn down a new contract
Victor Lindelof (CB) - difficult because of the money and another option is preferred
Stefan de Vrij (CB) - Lazio don't want to sell him to an Italian side
Kostas Manolas (CB) – will emerge as the favoured centre back target
Matteo Darmian (LB) – very unlikely - Juventus look more likely
David Alaba (LB) - very, very unlikely
Ricardo Pereira (RB/LB) – can play left or right back and is having a good season – an option to Rodriguez
Ricardo Rodriguez (LB) – nearly got an agreement in January for a summer move – will be a certain target but there is interest from elsewhere
Milan Badelj (M) – preferred target but very unlikely
Marcus van Ginkel (M) – proving his fitness still and would be unlikely to happen
Lass Diarra (M) – complicated free agent - but Inter won’t pay the €10M signing on fee he has to pass on to Locomotive Moscow
Tolgay Arslan (M) – An option for miudfield – perhaps an offer will be made
Gylfi Sigurdsson (M) – I suspect he will emerge as a summer target
Federico Bernardeschi (W) – Fiorentina are in danger of pricing him out of the market but there is interest from Inter
Luis Suarez (S) - almost certainly not
Alexis Sanchez (F) – the player has better options than Inter
Patrik Schick (S) - a good chance something can be done.}

2.) 24 Feb 2017 05:26:55
A very big thank you ed2.
You're the best

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

Thought so myself ed1. I personally think Kai Havertz is the most promising youngster in the Bundesliga right now.
Thanks a lot ed1.

{Ed001's Note - he does look the part.}

Will be interesting to see how he gets on. Felix has a bit of Kaka IMO.

Also Ed what do you make of Sancho. Is his potential being hyped up too much or is he really up there with guys like Felix and Mbappe?

Deependra

{Ed001's Note - he is very good but a step below them at least.}

Damn this autocorrect. I meant Coutinho and Dembele not Counting and Denver.

Deependra

{Ed002's Note - The escalation in prices mean that trades are becoming more viable at the higher end.}

I agree Ken, the last few windows signings haven't been as successful as what everyone thought for Barcelona. And they haven't come cheap either with Counting and Denver being very huge outlays. Will these failings have a more long term effect? And the bigger issue is not many teams seem keen to take them away either and even then not many can pay anywhere close to what Barcelona bought them for. A situation little similar to Pogba, not many sides able to outright buy them and player exchanges might be best option.

Which teams if any are interested in Umtiti Ed? Although I haven't watched too much of him (actually not been able to watch much footy if any lately) from whatever I have seen he looks a good player and more importantly to me he looks to be the best cb at Barcelona. Seems odd they will be happy to offload him.

Deependra

{Ed002's Note - None and he has a major injury issue.}

You can check the player profile on Milenkovic Dave. Maybe it can help form an image of him.

Although it is his first season in the big leagues but I have a feeling he will not be a one season wonder, granted he may not have as prolific a season again but he has been really good all round this year.

Can you share who the two viable alternatives that Milan are looking at? Totally OK if not.

Deependra

{Ed002's Note - Pedro and Florian Thauvin - and although there is plenty of interest in FT from elsewhere, Milan see him as a replacement for Suso,}

I am not a fan of his personally ed1. I think he either chokes under pressure or is probably cursed. But I am symphathetic towards him. The lad is basically held responsible for Messi (and Argentina) not winning any trophies.
I think Higuain and Cavani are two top strikers who are quite likely to miss important chances in important moments, big games but they sometimes re ieve unfair criticism too.

Deependra

{Ed001's Note - they are certainly not the reasons Argentina win nothing. The fact that they have been badly managed and have a complete lack of teamwork is the issue!}
